Activities both on site and at the library (partner) – Summer reading program and Lexia Core 5 Reading Program year round to improve reading skills in children from Pre-school through 6th Grade
Fitness /Nutrition
(walking, running, weightlifting, boxing, Nutrition instruction)
Job Training
Work with Workforce WV and WV Northern Community College to help teens and parents with resume building, job searches, interview skills,etc.
Donation Room
Provides school supplies year round and clothing for kids, as well as bedding, Hygiene kits, even household supplies

Entrepreneurial Program
Making and Selling things - needs to turn to business skills…working toward a social entrepreneurial venture such as a Media Center serving agencies and the public
Music Lessons
We have music room equipped with guitars, drum set, banjo, violin, keyboard, piano, mandolin – Need more instructors
Community Garden
Weirton's first Community Garden is located at the Weirton Christian Center, with Partnerships that include: Family Resource Center, Hancock and Brooke WVU Extension office's Master Gardeners, Healthways and Mary H. Weir Public Library.

Helps our families in emergency situations, with utility help, groceries, clothing, sports fees and other needs.

God Time

each week we focus on a different scripture.

Our Elementary children help prepare the Blessing Bags that they take home for long weekends. Middle and High school students help prepare dinner and snacks. And many partner organizations help us train them in healthy eating and fitness habits.
Transportation
We transport our children to and from the Preschool and home from the Center each evening if they need
transporation.
